Miss Venezuela Org Announces Historic Changes to Leadership Structure

Following the recent scandal that forced the Miss Venezuela Organization to temporarily shut its doors, the pageant released an official statement today detailing the announcement of the brand new Executive Committee. Three former international title holders will be responsible for revolutionizing the contest. 

Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler, has accepted the position of Director of PR and Training. She will be the Official Spokesperson of the organization and also take the lead in training the winners for their respective international contests. 

Miss TQI 2018: New Crown Unveiled at Press Conference

A press conference was held earlier this week in Bangkok to officially announce details about the Miss Tourism Queen International 2018 Pageant in Thailand. 

ERM, the owners of the competition has signed an agreement with local organizers Miss Ara International to stage this year's final on May 16th in Bangkok. 

The event is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as part of their Amazing Thailand 2018 campaign.

Miss World Welcomed to Brazil By First Lady of Sao Paolo

Miss World, Manushi Chhillar, touched down in Brazil for her first visit to South America. 

She was welcomed at the airport by a special delegation, including Miss World's license holder in Brazil, Henrique Fontes, and 2017 Miss World Brazil BWAP co-winner and third runner-up, Daniele Arruda. 

The New Miss Algeria 2018

21 year Nihed Markria was recently crowned Miss Algeria 2018. Her organization intends to send her to Miss World 2018 in China. The runner-up, Yasmine Hamici, renounced her title shortly after the event, claiming the results were unfair. Fella Rahli finished in third place.

Miss Tourism Queen International 2018 to be Crowned on May 16 in Thailand

ERM World has announced that the 2018 Miss Tourism Queen International Pageant will take place in Thailand. 

Women from around the world will arrive in Bangkok on May 8th and 9th. Between May 10th and 14th, the delegates will be visiting Pattaya and Rayong. They will return to Bangkok then for the final show on May 16th. 

The winner will be receive the crown and US$10,000 from outgoing 2016 title holder, Anu Namshir from Mongolia.PNN will be bringing you updates for the duration of the pageant. 

Miss Russia 2018 Crowned

18 year old Yuliya Polyachihina from the Chuvash Republic defeated 49 other contestants to win the title of Miss Russia 2018 last night. She told journalists that she was "insanely happy' yet had not about what she would do with US$50,000 and new car she had won. 

The journalism students is expected to represent her country at Miss World and/or Miss Universe 2018 depending on the dates of the two competitions. Violetta Tyurkina finished in second place and might be called upon to represent her country at one of the two major contests should the winner be unable to compete. Natalya Stroeva was named the second runner-up. 

PNN Picks: Miss Universe Croatia 2018

Nineteen young women will compete for the Miss Universe Croatia 2018 title on April 21st. 

The winner will be crowned by outgoing titleholder Shanaelle Petty who reached the top 16 for her country at Miss Universe 2017.

It was an evening of glitz, glamour and paparrazzi as the creme de la creme from government functionaries, members of the diplamtic corp, business exectives and entertainment as well as fashion personalities gathered to witness the crowning of the 5th Miss Tourism Nigeria World queen.

At the end, it was Ogenna Ekwubiri representing Abia who emerged as the new Miss Tourism Nigeria World 2016. As Part of her prizes, she received an official car, BOOM J8 (courtesy of Tecno mobile), latest edition of Cway Dispenser, a year supply of woodin (courtesy of Korede Bello), a custom-bottled champagne (courtesy of Drumbiu). She'll also represent Nigeria this October in Malaysia amongst over 70 countries at the Miss Tourism World pageant.

Runners up include Miss Enugu (Immaculata Offurum) who was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Globe (she'll represent Nigeria at the next MissGlobe pageant in China)
