It was an evening of glitz, glamour and paparrazzi as the creme de la creme from government functionaries, members of the diplamtic corp, business exectives and entertainment as well as fashion personalities gathered to witness the crowning of the 5th Miss Tourism Nigeria World queen.

At the end, it was Ogenna Ekwubiri representing Abia who emerged as the new Miss Tourism Nigeria World 2016. As Part of her prizes, she received an official car, BOOM J8 (courtesy of Tecno mobile), latest edition of Cway Dispenser, a year supply of woodin (courtesy of Korede Bello), a custom-bottled champagne (courtesy of Drumbiu). She'll also represent Nigeria this October in Malaysia amongst over 70 countries at the Miss Tourism World pageant.

Runners up include Miss Enugu (Immaculata Offurum) who was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Globe (she'll represent Nigeria at the next MissGlobe pageant in China)

Awka Ibom's Miss Ivie Young Akpude who won the title of Miss Tourism NigeriaInternational (She'll represent Nigeria at Miss International in Japan) while MissAnambra was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Africa 

Linda Ikeji Hosts Miss Tourism Nigeria 2016 Winners

Africa's biggest blogger, Linda Ikeji hosted the winners of the 2016 Miss Tourism Nigeria pageant to a lavish dinner at her Banana Island Mansion in Ikoyi.

Maureen Onu, A Finalist For This Years Miss Tourism Nigeria Event Billed For 9th July In Lagos Passed Away After A Brief Illness In The Early Hours Of Thursday Morning Last Week.

Miss Tourism Anambra 2016 Is Harmony Nwabufor (See Photos From The Event

It was a night of glitz, glamour and paparrazzi as 12 beautiful ladies representing major tourist attractions in Anambra state all pushed their boundaries all with the hopes of becoming the first ever Miss Tourism Anambra.

The event was hosted by Gulder Ultimate Search winner, nollywood actor & model, Chris Okagbue and Nollywodd actress Chioma Ifemeludike.

Present at the event included the President of the Miss Tourism Nigeria Organization, Santiago Roberts. Miss Tourism Nigeria Pageant Manager, Alex Akarhume. Miss Tourism Nigeria 2014 & Exquisite Face Of The Universe 2016, Collete Nwadike. Mr Universe Nigeria Top Model, Dominic Rume and Miss Tourism Nigeria South-South, Inyene Bassey.

After 2hours 40minutes of an evening filled with excitement and entertainment, it was Harmony Nwabufor representing Igbo Ukwu who came tops. 

She walked away with a Toyota Yaris, An opportunity to represent Anambra state this years Miss Tourism Nigeria, A movie role with OG Best production and lots of other consolation prizes.

 

Coming 2nd was Adimoye Somto Joeanne representing River Niger while 3rd place went to Amadi Nnachi Sandra who represented Butu Lake.

Ezenwa Ifunanya of Odinani Museum came 4th while Ezinwa Ifenyinwa Sandra representing Ugwu Nsor Nsugbe took the 5th position. Okafaor Adaobi Success of Obu Ofor-Nri Museum came 6th.

VIKTOH, Skiibi Dis crooner of YBNL Nation was the guest star artist of the night.

The grand finale event is billed for 19th February at the Marble Arc Events Center, Awka.
