Wahiba Arres is probably going to feel more comfortable than most other contestants at this year’s Miss International Beauty Pageant to be held in Tokyo on November 5th. Not just because she has what it takes to steal the show, but because she is a “pro”…
Indeed, since winning the 2014 Miss Tunisia title, the 21-year old Menzel Bourguiba native, English Major student has given a new meaning to the phrase “Beauty With A Purpose”. She is active both inside and outside her homeland: she is involved with a Tunisian childhood health awareness project and serves as a Cultural Ambassador for the Organization of Tunisian-Americans in the United States.
There is no stopping this beautiful Mediterranean beauty from winning their first ever BIG 4 crown, which was almost accomplished in 1996 when Ibticem Lahmar placed 1st Runner-up at Miss International. She is very prepared for this task, and is very much inspired to bring positive news about her country which was marred by unfortunate incidents last summer, with the mass shooting of tourists at a seaside resort hotel.
With the recent Nobel Peace Prize win of Tunisia, the series of good news may just have paved its way for this relatively peaceful and lovely north African oasis.
