Bea Toivonen Crowned Miss Finland 2014

Finland has crowned its representatives for Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International 2014.

Bea Toivonen, 21, 1.79 m-tall, was the winner and will represent Finland in Miss Universe 2014.

Krista Haapalaine, 24, 1.73 m-tall, was the 1st runner-up and will compete in Miss World 2014.

Milla Romppanen placed 3rd, and will compete Miss International 2014, in Japan, on November 11.

Weluree Ditsayabut Is The New Miss Universe Thailand 2014

Weluree Ditsayabut was the winner of Miss Universe Thailand 2014 contest.

She is 22 years old and 1.70 m. Weluree will compete in Miss Universe 2014, possibly in December.


Runner-ups were Pimbonkgod Chankaew (1st) and Sunannipar Kritsanasuwan (2nd).

Miss World Canada 2014 Is Annora Bourgeault

The city of Regina is home to the new Miss World Canada: twenty-one year old Annora Bourgeault. The pageant took place in Surrey and the winner will now get prepared to compete in Miss World 2014, in November.

Ericka Virk was the 1st runner-up and Pooja Anand was the 2nd runner-up.

Miss Guatemala 2014

Three Grand Slam representatives were crowned yesterday night in Guatemala City:

Miss Universe Guatema is Ana Luisa Montufar, 20 years old, 1.73 m-tall.

Miss World Guatema is Keyla Lisbeth Bermudez, 22 years old, 1.72 m-tall.

Miss International Guatemala is Claudia Maria Herrera, 21 years old, 1.72 m-tall.

They will compete in their respective international contests representing Guatemala later this year.

Among the Miss Universe contestants that are gaining a lot of attention these days, Miss Universe Indonesia Elvira Devinamira is probably the most visible. Her latest appearance was alongside the reigning Miss Universe Ma. Gabriela Isler and Miss USA Erin Brady at an Operation Smile gala in New York. Elvira, looking elegant and beautiful, was clearly a stunner. She just shined alongside with the stars. She was never eclipsed by anyone else.

A form of blasphemy

But with this newfound stardom came some mudslinging. A photo of Elvira, a practicing Muslim, surfaced online showing her in a garb of a nun holding a rosary. The photo came as shocking to some as this is somehow a form of blasphemy. Elvira is posing as if she is going to gobble up the rosary. Some even suggested that if the item is from other religions, a much different uproar might happen.

Miss World Nigeria 1995 Toyin Raji is shown in the photo above receiving her Miss Personality award at Miss World 1995. Unfortunately, she was later booted out from the pageant because her country’s leader at that time executed several dissidents. Toyin story did not start and end at Miss World 1995. Joanna Galea was crowned as Miss World Malta 2014 in a pageant held at Pjazza Teatru Rjal in the capital city of Valetta. She will represent Malta at Miss World 2014 pageant.

Ellie McKeating Crowned Miss Scotland 2014

Ellie McKeating was crowned Miss Scotland 2014 on May 1st. The 19-year-old beauty, from Milngavie, near Glasgow, wowed the judges, celebrities and crowd at the glitzy ceremony in Glasgow.

She will represent Scotland in the Miss World 2014 pageant expected to take place in the Philippines in November.

23-year old Milla Vieira, a model representing the State of Bahia, was crowned Miss Brazil Supranational 2014 during the conclusion of the pageant held at the Arts Theater in Eldorado shopping in the city of Sao Paulo on May 1st.

Mister Polski (Poland) 2014 Is Rafał Maślak

Firefighter will represent Poland in Mister World 2014 in England

26-year old Rafał Maślak, a firefighter from Międzyrzecz, won the title of Mister Polski 2014 during the conclusion of the event held April 30th in Bielsko-Biala.   

Maslak beat 11 other contestants for the title and will represent Poland in this year’s edition of Mister World to take place in Tor Bay, England, June 15th.

Subin Limbu Crowned As Miss Nepal 2014

Subin Limbu has been crowned as Miss Nepal 2014 in a glittering grand finale of the beauty pageant organised at the Army Officers Club in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu on Friday evening.

Limbu, selected from 18 finalists, was crowned by Miss Nepal 2013 Ishani Shrestha. Likewise, Pranayana KC was announced Miss Personality, Soni Raj Bhandari Miss Nepal International and Prinsa Shrestha Miss Nepal Earth.
